The Whalers fall to the Ice Hawks 3-1

Max Mcconnell came up big, stopping 30 of 32 shots throughout the game. The Rochester Ice Hawks took the lead before the halfway point in the third on a goal from Ethan Sievek.

Ethan Sievek contributed with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist) and Sam Bjellum had a busy night with 2 assists.

In the second period, Boysen opened the scoring for Rochester with a goal at 1:49 with helpers from teammates Bill and Sievek. Fortin quickly followed with a goal at 3:23 with helpers from Grobstick and Steines.

In the third, Sievek answered for the Ice Hawks with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 13:35 with assists from Cook and Bjellum. Meyer scored a goal at 19:12 with a helper from his linemate Bjellum.

This loss brings the Wisconsin Whalers’ record to (34-46-10-0)
