The Whalers recorded a shutout against the Mustangs 10-0 in home game

The Wisconsin Whalers struggled against the Peoria Mustangs allowing Austin Wisely to score a hat trick as Wisconsin crushed Peoria 10-0 in a home game at Owens Center in Wisconsin. Also, Jt Kossakowski posted a shutout, stopping all 19 of the Whalers shots throughout the game. The Peoria Mustangs took the lead early in the first on a goal from Tyler Kuhn and never looked back. Jordan Hillman had a busy night with 2 goals and Dane Federighi contributed with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).
In the first, Kuhn opened the scoring for the Mustangs with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 3:42 with a helper from his teammate Wisely. Hillman put in a goal at 5:52 with assists from Healy and Olson. Wisely netted a goal at 11:52 with a helper from Buchko. Hillman deposited a goal at 19:50 with assists from Begner and Mcdonald.
During the second, Federighi scored a goal at 7:44 with helpers from Wisely and Kuhn. Wisely put in a goal at 17:43 with assists from Federighi and Kuhn. Wisely quickly followed with a goal at 17:49 with a helper from fellow Mustangs forward Buchko. Buchko quickly followed with a goal at 18:28 with an assist from his linemate Kuhn.
During the third, Mickel deposited a goal at 6:22 with a helper from Mcpherson. Buchko scored a goal at 9:02 with an assist from Wisely.
