Arnold answered for the Bulls with a goal at 13:29 with a helper from defenseman Bernhardson. Bump quickly followed with a goal at 14:09 with assists from his linemates, Clemons and Fagerlee. Ether answered for Wisconsin with a goal at 19:34 with helpers from his linemates, Mcdermott and Mros.
During the third period, Honkanen answered for North Iowa with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 0:12 with assists from Bump and Fagerlee. Dolter netted a goal at 6:59 with helpers from his linemates, Blackowiak and Arnold. Dolter put in a goal at 10:27 with assists from Honkanen and Arnold.
