The Wisconsin Whalers struggled against the North Iowa Bulls allowing Brendan Studioso to score a hat trick as Wisconsin crushed the Bulls 8-5 in a home game at North Iowa Arena in Wisconsin. As well, the Whalers' defense had a poor night, allowing the Bulls 26 shots throughout the game. The North Iowa Bulls took the lead before the halfway point in the third on a goal from Alex Timm.
Nick Rogers did his part, adding 3 points (2 goals, 1 assist) and Hunter Huson contributed with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist). Josh Arnold delivered for his team with 3 points (1 goal, 2 assists) and Tyler Bump chipped in with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).

Timm quickly followed with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 5:09 with helpers from his linemates, Mckinnon and Baron. Fagerlee quickly followed with a goal at 5:47 with assists from his linemates, Bump and Clemons. Fortin answered for Wisconsin with a goal at 14:00 with a helper from fellow Whalers forward Mcdermott. Skrelja answered for the Bulls with a goal at 18:15 with assists from Butkiewicz and Honkanen.
